The injustice in our society that we witness everyday leaves no one impartial. I have decided to take my solidarity and verbal support off of my social media and keeping it mostly private, but it feels hollow to write about sunsets and spring colors without mentioning how deeply the recent weeks have affected us and made it crystal clear that our ways of living have to change. This is not a political column so I’ll refrain from elaborating further here and continue to support organizations which I believe work for a more just, equal and peaceful world. My mission when I started Peace à Porter was to make something beautiful while doing my part in supporting positive change and I’ll continue doing so and cannot thank you, my clients, enough for having enabled that mission.
